theatre (1000 seats) at the Château of Lacoste. It must surely
be an unforgettable evening to spent.

Dear Catherine friends
It is my believe that that my famous "fairy Godmother", must be a
"Catherine" fan herself ;-) Because whenever I buy my ticket,
direction France, something exciting is coming up! So
let me share my newest wonderful pleasure! I am talking about the
adorable SONG CATHERINE
which was recorded in 1965 by French Singer "Bernard Stéphane"
 
I was able to bid for the record on EBAY, thanks to a hint by Claire from France - who informed Frédérique about it !!! And since we share
our beautiful "Mistral & JouJou" connection :-) she sweetly said:
that's for you ma chère, you are the Catherine webmistress!!
Does one need more proof for knowing that there still exist REAL
friendship in this world? I do not want to get sentimental tonight,
I invite everyone to come and listen to the song of
"Catherine, the girl with the golden hair"

Let us be honest... it is hot hot hot and the brain does not work
as fast as usually !! But your webmistress is of the opinion her
visitors and friends near by and far away - deserve a bit of
entertainment all the same ;-) not all are yet on holiday, or
plan to go just now... my suggestion? Do it like me : look for
a nice and cool place and start reading one of my favorite
books of the moment, by Juliette Benzoni


Grande Dames, Petites Vertus

For a long time I have not been so amused, while reading
a book! Juliette Benzoni's humor, her knowedge of historical
episodes - her unique talent to keep the reader captivated
from one "true" story to the next is so ingenious! Ever heard
of "Hortense" the niece of the famous "Mazarin"? Or Gabrielle d'Estrées, mistress of "le vert Galant"  "Henry IV" (who must have been a very "passionate" man !! ) To cut a long story short, I
have catched myself laughing out right on my shady place,
in the parc - if you have the book on your shelf, my advice,
re-read or try to buy it! Believe me, you won't be disappointed!
It is the right period of year to read this marvelous precious book!

... a relaxed Mistral, who cannot wait to talk with her
très chère Juliette, Anne and JouJou about it ;-)

p.s. I am working on the "chapter by chapter" book 2

Today I am again very thrilled to announce that thanks to my French connection "Frédérique", was able to complete another International book cover page - FINLAND


...at the same time, and I know someone will now be very
 amused, I have finally met "Arnaud de Montsalvy's" father
 "Amaury de Montsalvy" !!
 Before I will say more to this, I want to talk to Juliette Benzoni on 25 July to have it confirmed! All of you who know Mistral, the passionate webmistress, can imagine how excited I am at the moment! I adore all little details, ..so stay tuned... to be continued...

very good amica dottoressa Rita in Italy, had a  special

Will you believe it? A FIRST ITALIAN EDITION of
La Passione di Catherine
( Il suffit d'un amour II )
the hardcover book is from July 1967 . It shows us, that
the Italians had pretty fast translated our "Catherine"
Inside the beautiful cover, we see a very young and
extremly beautiful Juliette Benzoni and it is mentioned
that her correct name is :
La Contessa Juliette Benzoni di Conza



all of you who know me, can imagine how thrilled I was
to find this. Dear dear Comtesse Juliette, will you sign

 "La Dame de Montsalvy" (The Lady of Montsalvy)
the book never translated into English
and other various languages!

I am so happy and proud, that I can now finally
announce that I have finished the  summary
of chapter 14 for all of those English readers
(and various other countries) who have never
been able to know how the story of Catherine
 and Arnaud ended! Like I have said from the
beginning, I am NO English teacher! I tried
my best - added what I guessed would interest
the fans of the books. I shall continue to do
all in my power to see to it, that "The Lady of Montsalvy"
shall one day be translated into English!!
30 years after it had been first published
in French.

I hope you are already used to our new main page? I am very busy adding as much pages as possible to the new French version of our "Catherine de Montsalvy fansite" This is new-land for me - but I love it when it gets complicated
So please forgive me should a link not work properly yet!
I hope our French visitors will be amused to hear their webmistress talk in French on the Anniversary page!! I tried my best, and I hugely amused myself saying the text about ten times!
I know JouJou, who does our translation does not like it when I repeat how thankful we are for her work ;-) but without doubt, without her, it would never have been possible to present the CDM fansite in FRENCH!
Also I must excuse myself, that our email-account did not work for some days! Thanks to Hélène who informed me of this matter!
